Ben Evans
Managing Director
Ben Evans the Managing Director of SEMF with a strong background as a concept designer, project manager, controls and software engineer in the hospital redevelopment and retail sector and a record of delivering large and complex projects.
Ben combines substantial experience in the design and construction of Greenstar and NABERS buildings and strong skills in retail and commercial lighting design and procuremen. Past roles Ben has held within SEMF include the national role of General Manager, Building and Property and Manager, New South Wales Building and Property Group.
Allan Waitzer
Director, Corporate Services
Allan Waitzer is an electrical engineer and former Managing Director of SEMF with a strong background as a business leader and over 30 years of consulting experience within the construction industry.
His leadership approach is shaped by a focus on sustainable growth and effective people strategy along with a commitment to innovation and client relationships. Allan’s vast experience steering multidisciplinary engineering projects is an important asset for SEMF, and has helped drive landmark achievements across the building and property, environmental and project management aspects of the business.
John Loke
Director, Finance and Risk
John has substantial & strong working knowledge in Financial Management, Business Growth & Change Strategies and Operational Performance. This is gained over 30 years in the Building & Construction industry holding roles including Finance Director, Company Secretary, Director Joint Venture Operations in Malaysia.
John drives & delivers operational performance through ensuring there exist the optimal organisation structure, systems, & processes for the team to excel. He is always striving to align the organisation to the uncertain & volatile economic/market conditions.
John makes time to mentor & develop team members to realise their potential.
Adam Coode
Project Director
Adam Coode is a mechanical engineer with almost 20 years experience in design, project engineering and project management across various industrial sectors. Adam has significant expertise in contract administration and construction management with a strong focus on manufacturing and materials handling projects. He also brings substantial experience in industrial and business process improvement including change management.
Adam has held executive roles within SEMF in the pas including General Manager, Industrial and Process and State Manager, Victoria.
Ron Vittorio
Ron Vittorio is a non-executive Chairman of SEMF. He has a background in civil & structural engineering and over 35 years experience, 25 years of these in multidisciplinary consulting and 10 years in design & construct engineering. His areas of expertise span planning, engineering design, project management and engineering contracting. Ron joined SEMF in the early 1990’s and from early 2000 led the establishment of SEMF’s NSW operations, serving as State Manager until 2006. In the last two decades Ron has held several board positions at SEMF.
He has previously served as Managing Director of three European owned companies in Australia, responsible for engineering & construction project work in Australia, China & South East Asia. Ron is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
